Privacy Policy
What this site collects, why, and how to opt out. Last updated August 8, 2026.
MD West Real Estate Photography (“MD West,” “we,” “us”) operates mdwest.media. This page explains what information the site collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you. We keep it short and specific, because a policy nobody reads protects nobody.
Who we are
MD West Real Estate Photography is a real estate media business serving the Greater Los Angeles area. You can reach us at mdwestmedia@gmail.com or (820) 386-2891 with any question about this policy or your data.
What we collect
Two kinds of information, and nothing else.
Information you give us directly
When you contact us by email or phone, or send us a property address to quote, we receive whatever you choose to include — typically your name, contact details, and information about the property. We use it to answer you and to deliver the work if you book a shoot. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone outside the people working on your project.
Information collected automatically
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate: which pages get visited, how people arrive, which devices they use, and which links get clicked. This tells us whether the site is doing its job. It is not used to identify you personally, and IP addresses are truncated by Google before we ever see them.
If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent. The site works exactly the same either way.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. This site uses two categories:
- Strictly necessary. One small entry that remembers your cookie choice so we stop asking. It sets no matter what you pick, and it holds nothing but your preference.
- Analytics. Set by Google Analytics only after you accept. They expire on their own, and you can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
You can change your mind whenever you like — use the button at the bottom of this page to reopen the choice.
Third parties
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and, with your consent, analytics from Google. These providers may process technical data such as your IP address and browser type in order to serve those resources. We use no advertising networks, no tracking pixels, no social media widgets, and no session recording tools.
How long we keep things
Enquiries and project correspondence are kept for as long as the working relationship is active, and afterwards for as long as we may need them for accounting or legal reasons. Analytics data is retained by Google on a rolling basis and contains no direct identifiers.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to:
- know what personal information we have collected about you and where it came from;
- request a copy of that information;
- request that we delete it;
- request that we correct it if it is inaccurate;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information;
- not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.
We do not sell or share personal information, and we never have. There is nothing to opt out of on that front — but declining analytics cookies stops the only automated collection this site performs.
To exercise any right, email mdwestmedia@gmail.com with what you would like done. We will respond within 45 days, as the law requires. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, which usually means replying from the address you originally contacted us from.
Children
This site is aimed at property owners, agents, and brokerages. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served entirely over an encrypted HTTPS connection. No payment details are collected on this website at any point.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Material changes will be summarised at the top of the page.
